● End-user support team member -- worked with 5 other IT professionals to provide technical assistance, problem solving, and support to faculty, staff, and students in an educational enterprise setting
● Began as a “student assistant,” but elevated to a “support specialist” and took on workflow efficiency projects
● Automated disk image deployment system through a batch- and PowerShell-based “Post-Ghost” process -- applying registry setting fixes and (locally deployed) group policies, adding computers to the domain (and later, specific OUs) using encrypted credentials, initializing DeepFreeze, etc.
● Subsequently upgraded disk image deployment system to be compatible with UEFI mode and GPT partition style for HIPAA compliance through BitLocker
● Automated data collection process during our Windows 10 upgrade push, automatically collecting and logging every computer’s name, mac address, primary user, and windows version
● Managed and supported all computer lab and public-facing technical equipment in the School of Medicine, writing batch and PowerShell scripts and programs which ensured all software processes were functional and user-friendly for student and faculty use cases
● Created a batch- and PowerShell-based program with an HTML-based GUI for all public-facing computers -- allowing computer access but disabling internet access for campus guests, enabling access to both for UBIT users, and enabling JSMBS domain connection for JSMBS users
● Automated boot processes for the Clinical Competency Center and Human Simulation Center
● Completed walk-ins and ticket requests for students, JSMBS faculty, and off-site users under the OMC umbrella
● Documented all my changes to light-touch and no-touch processes within OMC
